Eddie Shaw is a California native born and raised in Los Angeles. He attended local public schools in southwest LA. From high school he attended college at California State University at Long Beach majoring in Political Science with a minor in economics. He returned to CSULB a few years later and enrolled in their graduate program, where he graduated with a Masters in Public Administration. In the early 80's he decided to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Army Reserves. He started his career with the army at the rank of a PFC, in the Quartermaster's Corp. While in the army reserves and working full time as a Parole Agent he returned to school to work towards his dream of becoming an attorney. He enrolled as a student at Western State University, school of law located in Fullerton, CA. Soon after, he graduated with his doctorate degree in Law. in 1998 he passed the California State Bar exam. A year later he received a direct commission as a first Lieutenant in the Army's Judge Advocate General Corp. He continued on in the army reserves until he retired as a Captain, serving 23 years in the army. He also retired as a Parole agent after 20 years. Since his retirements he has taken on more cases as an attorney, and has opened this law firm. He has also worked as a pro-tem commissioner with the San Bernardino Superior Court, helping in their traffic division, small claims and landlord/tenant divisions. He specializes in Personal Injury, Employment law, Family Law, Civil matters, and landlord/tenant cases.
